With Sonoran Restaurant Week underway, and in addition to the incredible dining options, a few standout drink pairings deserve the spotlight. From thoughtful non-alcoholic offerings to sneak previews of new concepts, here are my top bartender picks for this year. As far as my bartending credentials, well, I ran this list by my husband, Stephen Kozlowski, who’s been bartending for the better part of 15 years and is a certified sommelier.
The Coronet
198 W. Cushing St.

The Coronet is featuring a well-curated wine pairing menu that highlights both local and Old World wine selections. A Queen of Cups (Patagonia winery) wine stands alongside a beautifully balanced Côtes du Rhône, offering diners the chance to enjoy the best of both worlds with their meal.
Flying V Bar & Grill
Loews Ventana Canyon Resort, 7000 N Resort Dr, Tucson

Flying V’s menu shines with its thoughtful cocktail program, which includes both spirited and non-alcoholic options. Even your DD can fully enjoy the pairing experience, regardless of preference.
Kon Tiki Restaurant & Lounge
4625 E. Broadway Blvd.

At Kon Tiki, diners can explore a flight of five cocktails, choosing three to enjoy alongside dinner. The lineup even includes the classic Saturn, making it a standout for anyone who loves tropical-inspired cocktails with a touch of nostalgia.
Locale Neighborhood Italian Restaurant
60 N. Alvernon Way
Locale and Contigo are giving guests a first look at their new restaurant concept, Miramonte, with a creative Mai Tai riff. The Mai Mai Mai allows you to get a taste of this coming-soon-restaurant before it officially launches.
OBON Sushi Bar Ramen
350 E. Congress St. #120
Obon is taking a different approach to their pairing menu with a playful sake flight that complements their Sonoran Restaurant Week dishes. You’ll enjoy four sake varieties with your meal for an additional $30.
