Bashful Bandit Barbecue brings backyard-style barbecue to Tucson's midtown area. The building once housed a rough-and-tumble biker bar, and the original bar remains today. A large outdoor patio lets guests watch pitmasters tend the wood-fired smokers. Highlights include the brisket and the green chile pulled pork, house-made sausages, and smoked jackfruit. For sides, try the Sunflower Crunch Salad, a take on coleslaw with crunch from sunflower seeds and crushed instant ramen.

@Lovinspoonfulstucson is closing after more than 20 years in Tucson. Its final day of service runs on Saturday, Oct. 24. Customers can stop in between now and Saturday for one last meal. The team plans to sell down its inventory, though it hopes to have favorite dishes available.
