March 24 @ 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Presented by: Tucson Foodie
What if supporting local wasn’t just a preference — but a strategy? In this interactive pilot workshop, Tucson Foodie owner Shane Reiser explores how everyday spending decisions impact Tucson’s economy, food system, and community. Participants will learn the concept of the Local Multiplier Effect, why supporting locally owned businesses matters beyond just “shopping local,” and how small shifts in behavior can create meaningful change. Attendees will leave with a practical 30-day action plan, tools for identifying and supporting local businesses, and a new lens on how their money moves through the city.
