Do you consider yourself a pizza connoisseur?

If so, you’ll definitely want to check out Tucson Originals second annual Pizza Throwdown. Enjoy a variety of delicious pizza samples, locally brewed beer and help choose the winner of best pizza in Tucson.

The throwdown will take place at Vero Amore Restaurant (Dove Mountain location) on June 14 from 2pm-6pm. The event is open to all, and whether you like your crust thin, thick, or gluten free, expect a taste for everyone. If you’re looking for something sweet, dessert samples will also be featured.

• Mama Louisa’s
• Monsoons
• Pastiche
• Rocco’s
• Vero Amore

Participating breweries include  Barrio Brewing Co., Borderlands Brewing, Four Peaks, Iron John’s, and Nimbus Brewing.

Don’t forget to purchase your tickets in advance for $20, or $25 at the door. Ticket purchase include pizza samples, beer tastings, and dessert.
