Russ Kempton, widely recognized as “America’s Spirited Speaker,” has dedicated his 30-year career to one thing: distilled spirits. Mexico certifies his expertise in tequila, Scotland confirms his knowledge of scotch, and the Society of Wine Experts acknowledges his status as a vino aficionado.
On Tuesday, July 14, Kempton will join Agustín Kitchen’s Chef Ryan Clark for “Dinner With Chefs.” Kempton and Clark are combining their talents for a nine-course feast of “nose to tail” pork dishes paired with six single malt scotch cocktails.
Throughout the evening, Kempton will share his expertise on the many aspects of scotch that he learned directly from single malt and blended scotch distilleries in Scotland. Think production to brand differences, pairings and more. The dinner will conclude with a Q&A session and, naturally, cigars to take home.
Chef Clark is sourcing locally, purchasing an entire pig from E & R Pork, a producer and supplier of 100% locally raised, grain fed, hormone and antibiotic free products.
