Maynards Market is hosting its 2nd annual Ice Cream Showdown competition.
The challenge takes place Saturday, July 11 from 6pm-8pm and includes 20 unique and original flavors.
Each creamery has creative freedom, but will provide both a kid-friendly and adult-friendly option (this means alcohol may be included ladies and gentlemen).
The creameries will be battling over the following titles: Best Overall, Most Inventive, and Kid’s Choice.

Tickets are $10 and can be bought at the door or online in advance with proceeds going to Ben’s Bells.
Maynards will also be hosting a second event that evening. Sear N’ Shine will feature Ole Smoky Tennessee Moonshine and Carolina style barbecue prepared by Chef Anthony Coluci.
Fingerlickin’ bites include pulled pork sandwiches with pepper slaw and pickled onions, baby back pork ribs, fried pickle chips, slow roasted mustard-brined sweet barbecue chicken, collard greens and smoked sausage with cornbread dressing.
Sear n’ Shine Tickets are $30 and $15 for just the Sear, and can be purchased online or at the door. Vegetarian options are available upon request.
