Ermanos Craft Beer & Wine Bar is kicking off the new year with a host of brewery-centric events and distinct culinary pairings.
On Wednesday, enjoy a four-course Speakeasy Ales & Lagers pairing, featuring four popular beers from the brewery’s selection paired with treats like a bourbon bacon caramelized banana with crushed pecans.
Next week, a special Taco Tuesday will feature Victory at Sea, the immensely imperial porter from Ballast Point. The brewery’s website suggests pairing the brew with a pulled pork sandwich or chicken mole, but Ermanos has a particular treat in mind.

This month’s Flight Bite Night at Ermanos takes place Wednesday, January 6. The featured brewery is Speakeasy Ales & Lagers out of San Francisco, California. The company got its start in 1997, and has since become known for their prohibition-style imagery and popular beers like the Big Daddy IPA.
“This Flight Bite Night is designed to be enough food to fill up most eaters for dinner,” commented owner Mark Erman. “It is more like a four-course meal, although it is not ‘coursed’ in the traditional sense, where the plates come out one at a time. When you place your order for the ‘Flight Bite’, the server brings out the flight of beer and the flight of food, which includes four items: a starter, an appetizer, a main, and a dessert.”
The four-course pairing is $25 per person.
On Tuesday, January 12, Ermanos will be tapping the coconut, peanut butter, peppermint, and rum barrel aged variants of the classic vanilla coffee imperial porter.
Plus, it’s Taco Tuesday, and Ermanos is taking full advantage of the weekly holiday. From 5 to 11pm, enjoy Chef Chepe’s $2 tacos plus a house-made “Chaco Taco” made with Victory at Sea syrup.
