SAVOR Food and Wine Festival, one of the most popular annual events put on by the Southern Arizona Arts & Cultural Alliance (SAACA), is back Saturday, February 6.

Beginning at 11am, taste culinary creations from 40 of Southern Arizona’s premiere restaurants, brewers, winemakers and coffee roasters while enjoying the scenery at Tucson Botanical Gardens.

Participating chefs include a who’s who roster of local culinary celebrity fame, such as Tucson Iron Chef Danny Perez, Maria Mazon 0f Boca Tacos y Tequila, and Eddie Coronado of Wildflower. The festival focuses on “showcasing the diversity of the tasty talents throughout the region and conscious cooking.”

General Admission tickets run $65 per person.

Participating Restaurants & Chefs at SAVOR Food and Wine Festival

  • Tazzina di Gelato – Various Gelato
  • Tucson Country Club – Chipotle Chicken Pasta and Duck Confit Salad; Ginger Margarita: Milagro silver tequila, house-made ginger syrup, fresh lime juice, topped with ginger beer and a salted chili rim
  • Tucson Tamale Company – Santa Fe, Green Corn, Santa Cruz, New Dehli Tamales
  • Ume Sushi & Asian Cuisine – Strawberry, Kiwi, Pineapple and Cream Cheese Dessert Sushi rolled in sweet rice and topped with locally-grown pecans, shredded coconut and a prickly pear syrup
  • Vero Amore –Eggplant Parmesan paired with a Clove Daiquiri provided by The Still
  • Wildflower – Cider glazed Pork Belly, Cauliflower Polenta, Brussel Sprout Leaf, Pickled Green Garlic and Mini Mocha bar with huckleberry and crème fraiche
