Arizona Cocktail Week, a celebration of cocktail and spirits culture in the Southwest, is culminating their week long festivities in Tucson with an event on Sunday, February 21 at The Flycatcher.

“AZCW Last Call” will present an episode of the popular local talk and variety show, “Romo Tonight Live!,” hosted by bartender and comedian Steven Romo, and will feature pop-up bars from Sidecar, OBON, PY Steakhouse, Penca, and Independent Distillery, as well as Phoenix-based OKRA, Counter Intuitive, and The Ostrich.

“I’m honored [for Romo Tonight Live!] to be the closing party for Arizona Cocktail Week,” said Romo Tonight Live! host Steven Romo. “When I’m not doing my show, I am bartending at two wonderful establishments here in Tucson. Not only is it a treat that the party will take place for the first time in my hometown, but I look at it as a celebration of my friends and fellow bartenders.”

Guests of the show will include the distiller of Hamilton “Dorado” Whiskey, Tucson Bar Awards Bartender of the Year Keith Caywood, AZCW founder Damon Scott, comedian Pauly Casillas, and magician Kenny Stewart, among others, and includes a performance by the Tucson band Katterwaul.

This is the first time Arizona Cocktail Week will come to Tucson since starting five years ago.

Last Call will benefit USBG Tucson, a local chapter of the national not-for-profit United States Bartenders’ Guild, an organization dedicated to the professional advancement of bartenders and the craft of cocktails.

“AZCW is thrilled to close out our week in Tucson,” Damon Scott, founder of Arizona Cocktail Week. “The local USBG chapter has really taken the reigns on this event and we couldn’t be doing it without them. “Last Call” is going to be an annual event for us going forward for sure.”

Doors open at 6:30, show at 7:30. Cocktail samples are included in the ticket price, $15 in advance or $20 day-of.
