Every May, the university students are finishing exams and leaving town for vacations and internships, while the snowbirds are escaping back to cooler temperatures. But how do the rest of us get away from the triple digit heat?

This May, take a trip to Northern Arizona for The Verde Valley Wine Festival, presented by Four Eight Wineworks and the non-profit art organization, Made in Clarkdale.

The festival will highlight Clarkdale and the Verde Valley while offering the opportunity to experience wineries, breweries and restaurants “committed to creating homegrown products and authentic experiences for locals and visitors to enjoy from around the world.”

The event will be held on Saturday, May 7th at the historic Clarkdale Town Park from 12 to 4pm.

As an added bonus, all wines featured by any winery at the Verde Valley Wine Festival will be made with only Arizona grapes.
