Although numerous cooking methods exist, a commonality amongst the Spanish dish known as paella is that it’s delicious. It’s also a large dish typically made for several people.
But beginning June 14, Contigo Latin Kitchen will begin “Paella Date Night” and effectively reduce the total number of guest needed to enjoy this beloved dish to two.
From 4 – 10 p.m. every Tuesday night and for the remainder of summer, Contigo will offer paella for two along with a bottle of wine or sangria carafe for just $35.
But, why stop with paella?
Also beginning on that same date Contigo will launch “Taco Happy Hour,” which includes six different tacos to select from that are available in orders of two for $4 and four for $9. In addition, sangria, select tapas, and select glasses of wine are $5, while a handful of Contigo’s killer cocktails are just $7, including margaritas, mojitos, the Poquito Picante, and jamaica.
For those not in the know, Contigo is a pan-Latin restaurant located in the former Poppy Kitchen at La Paloma. If Poppy Kitchen doesn’t ring a bell, before that it was Janos’ J-Bar. Contigo closed their small River Road location in 2015 and reopened in 2016 at La Paloma.
Due to demand, reservations for Tuesday nights are highly recommended.
