Tavolino Ristorante Italiano will host a four-course dinner featuring Iron John’s Brewing Company at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 27.

Since they were one of our featured happy hours, you can be confident that they know how to pair food and beverage.

Dinner will start with a light watermelon salad paired with a Belgian sour ale, then progress with more robust dishes and beers.

First Course

• Insalata di Anguria – Watermelon, heirloom cherry tomatoes, spicy pine nuts, arugula, Roman farro
• Paired with: Travail Belgian Sour Ale

Second Course

• Spaghetti alla Chitarra – Spicy Italian sausage, shiitake mushrooms, garlic, white wine
• Paired with: The Pedaler Czech Pilsner

Third Course

• Ruby Trout alla Griglia – Skin-on grilled ruby trout, thyme, roasted tomatoes, green beans, pine nuts, clam sauce
• Paired with: Pedro Double IPA

Fourth Course

• Budino al Cioccolato – Belgian chocolate, caramel, cream, sea salt
• Paired with: Loco Motive Rye Porter
