Pivot Produce is partnering with the kitchens of Welcome Diner, the Carriage House, 5 Points Market & Restaurant, and Exo Roast Co. for a fundraising party at Pueblo Vida Brewing Company 5 – 8 p.m. on Sunday, December 4.

Each kitchen will provide complimentary hors d’oeuvres featuring the regional, seasonal produce from Pivot, which works with 11 regional farms.

Pueblo Vida will also have a keg of their Pale Ale infused with beets from Breckenfeld Family Growers, one of the farms Pivot works with. A portion of each pint sold will towards the fundraiser.

Live music will be provided by Katterwaul’s Brittany Katter.

The fundraiser is part of crowdfunding efforts to help expand Pivot’s operations and work towards the $20,000 needed to apply for the USDA’s Local Food Promotion Program Grant, which could quadruple Pivot’s funds to help get local produce into the hands of more restaurants. Prior grant recipients include the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona and Barrio Bread.
