Brother John’s Beer, Bourbon & BBQ is hosting a five-course whiskey dinner featuring Sazerac Company 6 – 9 p.m. on Thursday, April 11.

While the Sazerac cocktail won’t be present, the dinner will showcase select whiskeys under the Sazerac Company family, which includes Buffalo Trace Distillery, A. Smith Bowman, Glenmore Distillery, and more.

The Sazerac Company was founded in 1869 by Thomas H. Handy, who purchased the Sazerac Coffeehouse.

First Course
  • BLT – house-smoked bacon, tomato, arugula, onion jam
  • Paired with Sazerac Rye 6 Year
Second Course
  • Beef Sirloin “Picanha” – Brazilian-inspired fire-roasted beef skewers
  • Paired with Elmer T. Lee Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Bourbon
Third Course
  • Smoked Buffalo Cauliflower
  • Paired with Old Weller Antique Kentucky Straight Bourbon
Fourth Course
  • Smoked Pulled Pork Shepard’s Pie
  • Paired with Stagg Jr. Kentucky Straight Bourbon
Fifth Course
  • “Adult” Milkshake Buffalo Trace Bourbon Cream, Screamery vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce
