Local breakfast joint Baja Cafe announced they are expecting to open their third location at 3930 W. Ina Rd. at the end of November.

“We actually had requests from some of our customers to have a location on the northwest side of town,” said Kim Scanlan, owner of Baja Cafe.

The space will feature about 40 seats inside with an additional 16 to 20 outside on the covered patio.

Bloody Mary fans will have to wait just a bit longer, as the liquor license is still pending. The new location’s menu will have a couple of differences from the other locations at first, but will remain overall similar.

Baja Cafe’s first location opened at 7002 E. Broadway Blvd., while the second location opened at 2970 N. Campbell Ave. The restaurant quickly gained a strong following with its varied, creative takes on Eggs Benedict and its Snickerdoodle Pancake.

“We talked about Phoenix but preferred to stay in Tucson,” Scanlan said. “We hope to catch more people in our community and appreciate the support so far.”
