While BOCA Tacos y Tequila executive chef Maria Mazon appeared on Tuesday’s episode of Food Network cooking game show Chopped, another Tucson chef will compete in the next episode — Loews Ventana Canyon Resort executive chef Ken Harvey.
“I am always willing to try new things, especially when it can positively impact my community,” Harvey said. “It was a lot of fun to be part of this competition and to represent Tucson’s amazing culinary talent on a national platform. Most importantly, my son Austin is very excited for me.”
To celebrate the occasion, the Cascade Lounge at Loews will host a Chopped viewing party from 7:30 p.m. – 9 p.m. on Tuesday, January 16. The episode airs at 10 p.m. ET.
Guests are encouraged to arrive early to grab seats and light bites, order a drink, and meet Harvey. Additionally, guests can share photos of the viewing party on Instagram with Loews by tagging @loewsventana and #Chopped.
Loews Ventana Canyon Resort is located at 7000 N Resort Dr. For more information, call (520) 299-2020 or visit loewshotels.com.
