Fast-casual meal-in-a-bowl restaurant chain Rush Bowls announced it will open its first Tucson location.
Andrew Pudalov founded the restaurant in Boulder, Colorado in 2004 after leaving a career in New York’s financial scene.
“Our number one priority is 100 percent all-natural nutrition, which makes Rush Bowls different from other grab-and-go concepts,” Pudalov said in a press release. “Rush Bowls’ meals are crafted from the finest fruits and vegetables, with fresh toppings like organic granola, hand-grinded peanut butter and jam made in-house to ensure the highest quality and taste for our customers across multiple day parts.”
The 1,100-square-foot space at 1058 N. Campbell Ave. previously housed Desert Dream Ice Cream. Rush Bowls is scheduled to open late summer or early fall, with at least two additional locations to be owned and operated by Brian Seay.
“I believe that eating healthy should be easy for everyone, and when I came across Rush Bowls I really resonated with the mission of providing quick health to all ages,” Seay said in a press release. “Rush Bowls has garnered a strong following in Colorado and beyond, and we are confident that it is a perfect fit for Tucson.”
