Local distillery Three Wells Distilling Company closed their Arizona spirits tasting room Series 19 at 13 N. Stone Ave.
“We feel [as] though the concept of Series 19 as a taproom bottle shop for AZ spirits was a good one, perhaps Tucson just was not quite ready,” said Matthew Montgomery, co-founder and distiller of Three Wells and co-owner of Series 19. “Hopefully one of the newer distilleries will take this concept to fruition at a later time when the market is more ready for it.”
Series 19 opened in May 2018. Although the bar is now closed, Three Wells is still in operation and selling products at its original location.
“Three Wells is and always has been a huge supporter of the craft spirits scene in Arizona and hopes to see it continue to grow and expand,” Montgomery said.

Three Wells Distilling Company is located at 3780 E. 44th St. Ste. 120. For more information, visit threewellsdistilling.com.
