Whole Foods Market will contribute 5% of net sales from all Tucson-area locations on Thursday, April 18 to Tucson Village Farm, a local educational urban farm.

Tucson Village Farm is a seed-to-table program of the Pima County Cooperative Extension and the University of Arizona designed to reconnect youth to a healthy food system and teach them how to grow and prepare fresh food.

The farm also serves as a safe urban location to engage in outdoor physical activity while contributing to local food production, preparation, and consumption.

Funding from the event will be dedicated to the farm’s Summer Camp programs and 2019 Harvest Festival.

Whole Foods is located at 3360 E. Speedway Blvd., 5555 E. River Rd., and 7133 N. Oracle Rd.
