Two spots will celebrated the beloved celebrity writer and chef.

In 2018, chefs, fans, food writers and food lovers mourned the death of Anthony Bourdain. Now, a day of life and remembrance has been established for 2019.

Longtime friends of Bourdain and world-renowned chefs JosĂ© AndrĂ©s and Eric Ripert have dedicated Tuesday, June 25, which was Bourdain’s birthday, as “Bourdain Day.”

The two chefs started the hashtag #BourdainDay which has picked up steam in the days following.

Here in Tucson,  there are two options that we’re aware of to get out, eat delicious food, watch some of your favorite “Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown” episodes, and celebrate his life with others around the city.

The beloved chef once said, “you learn a lot about someone when you share a meal together,” and the Tucson community can do just that.
