When it rains it pours — delicious food, that is.

Pima Theatre is hosting a “Singin’ in the Rain” performance and three-course dinner at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26.

(GMT-07:00)

Before the talented actors enter the Center of the Arts stage at 7:30 p.m., the Pima Community College’s Hospitality Management students will be delivering a gourmet meal out on the courtyard.

You can expect to find themed treats that’ll have you dancin’ in your seat, much like the Singin’ in the Rain Raspberry Trifle. Plus,  with the main course, you’ve got an option to choose a vegetarian option.

Seats are $75 per person and includes dinner and your ticket to the show. If you’re interested in a sponsor table for eight people it’s $800.

Singin’ in the Rain Dinner Menu

First Course
  • Baby Green Salad – with champagne vinaigrette
Second Course (choice of)
  • Lemon and Thyme Marinated and Grilled French Chicken Breast – with sweet mashed potatoes, ricotta, maple, baby carrots, and asparagus
  • Cream Pasta and Peas – with lettuce and sage
Third Course
  • Singin’ in the Rain Raspberry Trifle

Proceeds from the dinner and show will be benefiting the Molly Star Scholarship fund.

The Pima Community College’s Center for the Arts Proscenium Theater is located at 2202 W. Anklam Rd. For more information, visit pimafoundation.org.
