"We want to do what we can to help them out while they are closed right now."

At the end of June, Hotel Congress made the decision to temporarily close its doors in order to keep the community’s health a top priority.

Today, longtime neighboring supporter Crooked Tooth Brewing Company is stepping up to the plate to offer some additional relief to the hotel’s displaced employees.

For a while now, Crooked Tooth has been the brewer behind the “house beer” at Hotel Congress — the hazy pale ale known as Congress Unfiltered.

Now, you can purchase a 32-ounce crowler of Congress Unfiltered from the brewery to-go, and then 20 percent of the sales will be donated to the Hotel Congress relief fund.

Crooked Tooth stated the following on Facebook:

“They have believed and supported us since the beginning and we want to do what we can to help them out while they are closed right now.”

If you’d like to grab a crowler of the hazy pale ale, Crooked Tooth’s to-go hours are currently 3 – 9 p.m. on Wednesday – Friday and noon – 9 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Also, the Congress Unfiltered is included in their “3-for-2 Crowler Special.”

Cheers, Tucson.
