Fry-aholics will be taking over the kitchen at Prep & Pastry this weekend. Order crisp, hand-cut fries loaded and smothered with things like carne asada, shrimp, chicken tinga, and even portobello mushrooms.

Join Borderlands Brewing Company’s head brewer Ayla Kapahi and learn about the beer brewing process, style definitions, flavor differences in each category, and the best part, how to taste.

Taking place in Borderlands private taproom inside their production facility, you’ll see where the brewing happens while enjoying these five craft beers:

  • Viejo Pueblo Blonde Ale – brewed with local Tohono O’odham corn
  • Prickly Pear Wheat – an easy-drinking German-American wheat beer with local organic prickly pear juice adding beautiful flavor and color
  • Ayla’s choice of IPA
  • Noche Dulce Vanilla Porter – aromatic, slightly sweet with notes of coffee and dark chocolate with Mexican vanilla beans giving it aroma and taste
  • Citrana German-style Gose Sour – tart and refreshing
