There's about to be a... lot to do this weekend.

We’ve officially entered back-to-school season which means that summer will soon be coming to an end… Oh wait, we live in Tucson where it’s sunny and warm basically year-round. Here are some events to keep your mind off the fact that we still have a ways to go before we can pull out the winter wear.

WHISKEY BUSINESS AT HACIENDA DEL SOL

It’s too good of a deal to not bring it up again this week!

Join Hacienda Del Sol Guest Resort for Whiskey Business. Every Thursday from 3 p.m. to close, guests can enjoy half-off Crown Royal (this week), $1 off all whiskey, and a savory specialty barbecue menu. Stop by between 5 – 8 p.m. each Thursday for a blend of live jazz and country music. Mmm… a brisket slider washed down with a Manhattan… sign us up! They’ll also be serving mac and cheese bites, chicken and waffles, shrimp corn dogs, and more.

TUCSON GRILL MASTERS: SMOKING 101

There’s about to be a… KNIFE FIGHT!

Tucson Knife Fight kicked off Season Five this week, but you’ve got seven other Mondays to catch the culinary competition throughout Tucson. This year, they’ve partnered with the Tucson City of Gastronomy and will incorporate ingredients made by TCOG-certified producers, makers, and restaurants.
