Chicken Tenders are flocking to the Eegee’s menu

Just another thing to dip into their ranch dressing

When chickens decide to cross the road, they’re obviously trying to get to the other side. Over the years, the punchline has had a double meaning — the chicken is simply heading yonder or the feathered friend is making its way to the “other side” because it’s dangerous to cross busy roads.

However, we’re talking about chicken tenders in this article and now they’re crossing into entirely new territory: the local fast-food giant, Eegee’s.

The restaurant will be adding chicken tenders to the menu on Wednesday, October 19.

Sure, they’ve had one-offs like a chicken tender sandwich for a limited time, and they’ve got Chicken Nugees on the kids menu every day, but this new option is for all ages and appetites. The chicken tenders start at $7.79 for a two-piece combo that comes with French fries and an Eegee. Then, if you’re hungry enough, you can add even more to the coop with up to four chicken tenders.

Adding chicken tenders is one of the more significant changes to the menu that’s been evolving for 40+ years now. One of the other recent additions includes the first-ever caffeinated beverage, the Macchiato Buzz.

Drink Pink in October

Also, don’t forget that this month you can “Drink Pink” to help support the Tucson Cancer Conquerors. If you order the Pink Lemon Eegee they will donate back to the organization in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This promotion is happening until the end of October.
