Lots of things are brewing this week! For starters, did you check out the new and improved Things to Do?

National Tamale Day is on Thursday and Tucson Tamale Company has some great deals in store for you. You already knew that though if you’re a Foodie 500 member. Check out some of the free wine tastings in town or register for the wine dinner hosted by Arizona Wine Tours — whatever you do, chances are you won’t be thirsty this weekend.

NATIONAL TAMALE DAY

on National Tamale Day (March 23), Tucson Tamale is celebrating with a Buy-One-Get-One Frozen Tamale Sale. If you buy three Twin Pack Tamales, you’ll get three Twin Packs for free. Like all deals and special offers, there are some rules. There’s a limit of three free Twin Packs per customer. Plus, you will be able to substitute single tamales (the total number of free tamales is six whether in Twin Packs or singles).

Not only will you create an elaborate charcuterie platter full of delicious goodness and your very own heirloom tray from our elaborate selection, but all the knowledge to make another at home! Registration fee includes food, supplies and instruction from Bride+Brie Tucson for you to create your own charcuterie platter. You are welcome to enjoy your creation while you make your BB board.

In this Antsy Nancy class, you’ll not only stretch your own dough, you’ll stretch your imagination! They’ll provide a multitude of fresh, delicious, and locally sourced meats, herbs, and vegetables to customize your own artisan pizza.

An optional, complimentary Scout & Cellar wine will be paired and served with dinner for students 21 and over. Students are welcome to bring their own wine, champagne, beer, etc. to enjoy during class.

ARIZONA WINE DINNER

Sunday, March 26 from 5:30 – 8 p.m.
Tohono Chul Garden Bistro

Each month Arizona Wine Tours features a local chef who will pair their meals with an Arizona winemaker. This month, they’ve partnered with Tohono Chul Garden Bistro and 1764 Vineyards.

The menu looks stupendous and they even have vegetarian options.
Cost: $139 per person. Reserve your seat online.

PEARLY BAKER TASTING TUESDAYS

Tuesday, March 28 from 4 – 8 p.m.
Pearly Baker Fermentables

Exciting new things are happening at Pearly Baker! Every Tuesday stop in for a wine tasting with Sommelier Joshua Osteen.
