Next door to Phở Saigon and the Harkins Theatres Tucson Spectrum 18, a Utah-based restaurant is planning to open its doors to Tucsonans for the first time. Hideout Steakhouse & BBQ, which also has a location in Casa Grande, is hosting its Grand Opening on Monday, April 3 at 5475 S. Calle Santa Cruz #101.

The owner of the restaurant chain, Todd Gillespie, has been wanting to expand to Tucson for its incredible culinary scene, and a handful of his staff grew up in Tucson and look forward to the new spot, too.

At Hideout Steakhouse & BBQ, you’ve got the option to order your steak in a traditional manner — prepared in the kitchen — or you can take the reins and grill that slab of meat yourself. They’ll bring out your steak raw on a piping-hot stone so you can let it sizzle and keep it warm while chompin’ down on it.

Hideout Steakhouse & BBQ also serves the common steakhouse cuisine like grilled burgers, pulled pork, smoked ribs, jumbo salads, cowboy appetizers like bacon-wrapped jalapeños and smoke wings, and Fettuccine Alfredo. Plus, milkshakes, ice cream, and pies galore.

The other two locations (one in Utah and the other in Casa Grande) offer breakfast but the Tucson location will not be offering it right away (stay tuned). Also, there’s a full-service bar to wash down your lunch or dinner.

Once the restaurant opens on Monday, April 3, the hours of operation will be 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.
