Today marks a significant milestone for Tucson Foodie and our Editor, Matt Sterner. Matt is celebrating his six-year anniversary with us, and we want to take a moment to appreciate his contribution.
Over these six years, Matt’s dedication to pursuing food and beverage stories has greatly enriched our content. His diligent work ensures that our readers are always well-informed about the latest food trends and new restaurants in Tucson.
Matt has also fostered a strong sense of community within our team. He works closely with our contributors, helping them to develop their skills and bring unique food narratives to our platform.
Another thing I love about Matt is the way he connects with people. He’s beloved not just in the local food and beverage industry, but other subcultures throughout Tucson. He has a knack for building relationships rooted in kindness, empathy and his particular flavor of humor. I am deeply honored when someone accidentally calls me Matt. I guess it’s because we both have beards and wear Tucson Foodie t-shirts all the time. (Hint: I never wear hats. Matt always does).
Working with Matt has truly been one of the highlights of my life since taking over Tucson Foodie about a year ago. His positive energy and commitment have become cornerstones of our team’s culture. His passion for his work is clear, and it continues to inspire us.
As we celebrate Matt’s six-year anniversary with Tucson Foodie, we want to acknowledge the important role he plays in our team. He brings tremendous value to our platform and significantly enhances our readers’ experience.
Here’s to Matt Sterner. His leadership and camaraderie are a true asset to Tucson Foodie, and we look forward to the years to come.
