Olive Blossom Festival

From pizza nights to Olive Oil 101 classes, there’s a lot happening at the Olive Mill. Coming up soon is the Olive Blossom Festival on Saturday, April 20 from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. and Sunday, April 21 from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. at 25062 S. Meridian Rd.

The two-day festival is an annual celebration of springtime at the Queen Creek Olive Mill. The team prides itself on making extra virgin olive oil from Blossom-to-Bottle, and this festival is an opportunity to check out their groves in full bloom.

Also, it helps folks understand where the journey begins for every high-quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

“Guests are invited to enjoy the beautiful weather and walk through their scenic olive groves in full bloom while celebrating the loveliest time of year in Arizona.”

It’s a free event and there will be food to purchase, free samples of fresh Extra Virgin Olive Oil, live music, regional vendors, and tractor tours — it’s a great way to launch into the springtime season.

More About the Olive Mill

The Queen Creek Olive Mill began with Perry and Brenda Rea, along with their five children, sharing a dream of bringing the Arizona community the finest, locally-produced extra virgin olive oil.

From a modest farm shed to the magnificent establishment it is today, the Queen Creek Olive Mill has transformed into an Agritourism destination where award-winning extra virgin olive oil meets farm-to-table dining in the American southwest.

For those eager to explore the art and science behind extra virgin olive oil, the Olive Oil 101 Class is a must.

This 45-minute class unveils Queen Creek’s secrets of olive oil production, from the delicate harvesting of olives to the precise crafting of this liquid gold. If you’re lucky enough to have Wolfgang as your guide, you’ll wish the tour was longer.

Queen Creek Olive Mill is located at 25062 S. Meridian Rd., Queen Creek, Arizona. For more information, call (480) 888-9290 or visit queekcreekolivemill.com. For more information about other events, check out Queen Creek’s events calendar.
