Right at the tail end of 2024, DiBella’s Brunch N’ Booze opened, dishing out a brand-new brunch menu to folks in Oro Valley and beyond.
The space at 9630 N. Oracle Rd. Suite #110, which is a former FireTruck Brewing, went through a full-on makeover, decked with brightly-colored walls and floral decorations. Plus, the incredible patio views make the drive worthwhile (if you’re not an Oro Valley resident).
“It’s been going really, really great,” said Calye DiBella, co-owner of the new brunch spot. “We’ve been very busy! We’re starting to notice that maybe our restaurant is a little too small for the volume we’re having,” she laughed.
The menu covers all the breakfast and lunch staples, but the real standouts are DiBella’s Monte Cristo sandwiches.
“Our number one selling items are Monte Cristo sandwiches,” Calye added. “The Cluck and Oinker and the OG have been the most popular. They’re just selling like crazy! The pulled pork Monte Cristo has skyrocketed as well.”
For more classics, order a plate of Belgian-style pancakes or the BK Sammy while you’re at it. The breakfast sandwich comes with an egg (made to your liking), your choice of meat, American cheese, and mayo.
Now that the soft opening phase has proven to be a huge success, Calye and the crew are ready for a big shebang — a grand opening packed with live music and food and drink specials.
The official grand opening is Friday, February 28, with extended hours from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Plus, new menu items debut that day.
“There’s going to be live music by the Paul Opocensky Project from 12 to 3 p.m., a ribbon-cutting at 2 p.m. with the Town of Oro Valley, and then we’re going to have a bunch of raffles from different local vendors,” said Calye. “The goal is to have a big party!”
Now, “booze” is in the name and it’s definitely DiBella’s game.
In December, the restaurant started out serving five to six beers on tap with plans to expand to more than 10, offering rotating brews and drink specials. There’s also a handful of coffee-style cocktails with spiked creamers — a morning buzz comin’ in hot!
“The coffee cocktails are doing really well,” said Calye. “Our Long Island Iced Coffee and Nola Iced Cofee are super popular. The Nola Iced Coffee is made with Kahlua, cold brew coffee, and a little bit of whipped cream on top.”
For those looking for a different kind of heat, try their Inferno Bloody. “It’s a bloody mary with a three-pepper blend, served with a super hot jalapeño-infused Stoli vodka.”
The restaurant is open from 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. daily, but open until 4 p.m. during their grand opening (Friday, February 28).
