The Oro Valley Summer Concert Series continues indoors with a dinner show from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 19. Held at Saffron Indian Bistro, this one-night-only event features the high-energy Latin fusion band Tesoro. The group will bring its signature blend of rumba flamenco, rock, jazz, and funk into an intimate setting.

Live Music Meets Local Flavor

Presented by the Southern Arizona Arts and Cultural Alliance (SAACA), the concert offers a fresh take on a long-standing tradition. While most shows in the series unfold in parks or plazas, this event shifts to a refined indoor venue.

“Bringing the Summer Concert Series into an established restaurant like Saffron allows us to reimagine how live concerts can show up in everyday spaces,” said Matt Rolland, SAACA’s Deputy Director. “It’s an opportunity to deepen community engagement by pairing culinary creativity with the energy of live performance.”

Guests can enjoy a curated Indian buffet and two signature cocktails crafted by Saffron’s culinary team. Tickets cost $40 and includes full buffet access, drinks, and the live show.

Tesoro’s Distinctive Sound

Tesoro has built a regional reputation for genre-bending performances and emotionally charged Spanish guitar. The band’s vibrant sets encourage dancing and celebration while honoring Latin musical roots.

This exclusive performance offers a close-up experience with the band, paired with Oro Valley’s top-tier dining.

Community Connection Through Music

SAACA and the Town of Oro Valley have partnered for more than 20 years to bring free and ticketed live music to the region. The series spans genres and venues, including neighborhood spots, retail centers, and family-friendly attractions.

Each concert supports working musicians while enriching the cultural and economic vitality of the region.
