TENWEST Festival returns to downtown Tucson from March 24 to 29 with a packed schedule of events. The Tucson entrepreneurship festival blends innovation, food, and community-driven programming across multiple venues. Organizers expect attendees to explore workshops, panels, and dining experiences throughout the week.
Additionally, the decentralized format encourages guests to engage with Tucson’s restaurants and creative spaces. Events take place across downtown, creating a walkable and immersive experience. This year’s lineup places a stronger emphasis on culinary storytelling and local impact.
The Tucson entrepreneurship festival will feature a Tucson Foodie-led workshop focused on local spending and economic impact. “Certified Localist (Pilot Workshop): How Shifting Your Spending Can Strengthen Tucson” runs from 2 to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24 at Highwire.
Tucson Foodie owner Shane Reiser will lead the interactive session. Participants will learn how everyday spending decisions shape Tucson’s economy and small business ecosystem. The workshop will also introduce the upcoming Certified Localist initiative, which encourages residents to commit to supporting local businesses.
Attendees can expect practical tools and guided exercises, including a 30-day Localist Action Plan. The session invites community members, entrepreneurs, and advocates to take part in building a stronger local economy.
Food takes center stage during “Nosh & Network via Rio Nuevo” on Wednesday, March 25 from noon to 2 p.m. at The Grand.
The event pairs TENWEST passholders with fellow attendees for small-group discussions at downtown restaurants. Participants will meet at The Grand, then walk to partner restaurants for facilitated conversations.
This experience blends networking with Tucson’s dining scene. Guests can exchange ideas while supporting local restaurants, reinforcing the festival’s focus on community and collaboration.
The Tucson entrepreneurship festival will also highlight food media and storytelling on Friday, March 27. “Digital Storytelling: Lessons from a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy” runs from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at Highwire.
The panel will feature voices from Visit Tucson, Tucson Foodie, and BRINK.com. Speakers will explore how digital platforms shape public understanding of Tucson’s food culture. Topics will include Indigenous foodways, multicultural influences, and ethical storytelling.
Additionally, the session will provide practical strategies for creators and businesses. Attendees will learn how to build meaningful content that drives tourism and supports local culinary identity.
TENWEST continues to position itself as a leading Tucson entrepreneurship festival. The event combines business insights with hands-on experiences rooted in the local community.
