Torey Hayden

Torey Hayden is a Tucson native that loves the small-town feel the city brings. While she never moved away like many locals do, she loves to travel and explore. She graduated from the U of A in 2007 and pursued speech therapy, a career that led her to serve the school system of Tucson for 12 years. In 2019, Torey transitioned her truest passion, photography, into her full-time profession and hasn’t looked back. While she photographs an array of things, she’s most passionate about people and telling their stories through imagery. Along with running a successful photography business, she owns and manages a new studio house/small event space here in Tucson called The Moxie. Torey has always enjoyed writing and her love and knowledge of coffee gave her the perfect chance to step into the world of journalism with Tucson Foodie. However, her greatest job of all, and the one that she’s most proud of, is being a mom to two teenage kids. Her life, as she would say, is like a dinner plate on Thanksgiving day – leaving you full and grateful.
