5 of the best french fries in Tucson

5 of the best french fries in Tucson

Jul 11, 20182 min read

French fries are one of the greatest foods of all time. They’re known to help prevent hangovers, cure them, and get you over a breakup.

The simple ingredients — potatoes, oil, and salt — don’t create the perfect fry alone. Technical knowledge and execution are required for a crunchy exterior and creamy interior.

You don’t need to read the science behind french fry perfection, just try our top picks for best french fries in Tucson.

While Beaut Burger has a reputation for vegan options, it also makes an excellent straightforward french fry — and sweet potato fry.

Pay a quarter more for the fresh herb variation with spicy seasoning.

Diablo Burger spices it up — or more accurately, “herbs it up” — by adding Herbes de Provence to their Belgian-style crispy fries.

While house-made ketchup is at the table, you can also ask for Hatch chile mayo, curry mayo, ranch, chimichurri, DB special sauce, or spicy honey mustard.

Divine Bovine

While most fries use the classic Russet potato, Divine Bovine uses Pure Gold potatoes, which are then triple-fried in peanut oil.

They have indeed perfected the seriously crunchy exterior and creamy interior. It’s pure potato heaven as they’re thicker than your average french fry.

Potato chips are double-fried; a dedicated fryer is used to keep the potatoes vegan.

Graze keeps it simple and classy with their classic Belgian-style fries. They have an edge with various dipping sauces, such as curry ketchup and sriracha mayo.

Add a milkshake, if you’re into that sort of thing.

Wild Garlic Grill serves a premium plate of fries with their Roasted Garlic Fries, made with extra-virgin olive oil and a generous amount of roasted garlic.

Dip them in mussel broth for an entirely different but delectable experience.
