Tucson Foodie will host its April Foodie Dinner on April 2 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Casa Del Rio. The Tucson foodie dinner event will feature a three-course tasting with nine distinct dishes. Guests can expect a curated experience that highlights regional flavors and chef-driven creativity.

Additionally, the intimate dinner brings diners together for a shared culinary experience. The format encourages conversation while showcasing a range of textures, techniques, and traditions. Seating remains limited, with 30 tickets available.

A Multi-Course Menu With Depth and Variety

The Tucson foodie dinner event will present a diverse lineup across three courses. Each course introduces multiple dishes, giving guests a broader look at Casa Del Rio’s kitchen.

Starters will include:

  • Toritos Gobernador — shrimp-filled chiles wrapped in bacon
  • Caldo de Queso
  • Sopa de Tortilla
  • Four-salsa flight with fresh fried chips

Main courses will include:

  • Calabacitas Rellenos, zucchini boats
  • Enmoladas de Pollo with rich mole
  • Taco Flight featuring Lu’au, Steak, and Potato tacos

Desserts will include:

  • Flan Nuevo
  • Arroz con Leche

The progression moves from bold, savory starters to rich mains and classic desserts. Each dish reflects a balance of comfort and innovation.

Optional Wine and Cocktail Pairing

Guests can enhance the experience with an optional beverage pairing. The add-on includes a wine sampling and a three-course cocktail tour for $30.

The cocktail lineup features:

  • Desert Pear Margarita
  • Blackberry Bourbon Smash
  • Cold Brew Martini

This pairing complements the menu with bright, fruit-forward, and spirit-driven flavors. It also adds another layer of exploration to the Tucson foodie dinner event.

How to Attend

General admission tickets cost $95 and include the full tasting menu. Guests can add the wine and cocktail pairing during checkout. Availability remains limited, and advance purchase is recommended.

General manager Jacob Yeung credits one idea above all: “We’ve grown since then, but the key has always been consistency.”

Stop in for Flaming Chili Oil, Walnut Shrimp, chow fun, or sautéed green beans finished with Sichuan peppercorns. Vegetarian and vegan options are available.
