Falora Celebrates Three Years With $3 House Wine, Other Specials

Falora Celebrates Three Years With $3 House Wine, Other Specials

Mar 4, 20161 min read

Falora drips with so much character it belongs in a Wes Anderson flick.

With its grade school-esque firewood cubbies, community tables, small bar overlooking the open kitchen, high end imported pizza oven, and – of course – the amazing food, it’s easy to see why they continue to rake in praise and press.

To celebrate three years in business, which, if you know the restaurant business, is something to celebrate (granted it’s not five, but it’s past the halfway mark), Falora is offering $3 glasses of house red or white with a pizza and salad purchase for all of March.

In addition, On March 13, a margherita pizza and kale salad combination will only run you $13 and from March 22 through March 31, you’ll receive $3 off any pizza and salad combination if you show your Natural Grocers receipt, which Falora owner Ari Shapiro is excited about. (Natural Grocers grand opening is March 22.)

“We could not ask for a better neighbor,” said Shapiro. “Their food ethos mirrors ours.”

Falora recently rolled out a New York and New England inspired pie, the Mollusco. It’s baby clams, local oyster mushrooms, and Manhattanara sauce (San Marzanos, fennel, white wine, garlic, prunes).

“Aside from the accolades, including terrific national press,” continued Shapiro, “I am so proud of the small iterations we’ve made, and the responses to them. Nothing brings us greater joy than seeing people leave our place and yell “grazie!” to the staff. Our singular focus for 3 years has been to continually improve in-house, to move the needle of the hospitality experience. And to revert back to Italy, circa 1979.”
