Ditch the glass of milk Thursday, February 9, for some wine.
The Living Room Wine Café & Lounge is hosting Corks & Cookies Girl Scout Cookies and Wine Pairing Event 4 – 7 p.m. on Thursday, February 9.
Samoas, Savannah Smiles, Thin Mints, and Trefoils will be paired with four half-glasses of wine for $20.
Additionally, The Living Room has remixed Samoas and Trefoils into two special Girl Scout desserts, available for $6.95 all of February. A dollar from the sale of each will benefit Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona.
The Samoa Chocolate Panna Cotta features toasted coconut and caramel, while the Trefoil Bread Pudding features brioche bread and shortbread cookies topped with your choice of macerated berries or bananas foster and cream cheese whipped cream.
Local Girl Scouts will be onsite selling cookies and collecting donations for the Cookies for Military program, which sends Girl Scout cookies to troops overseas.
