Green Feet Brewing, one of the latest newcomers to Tucsonâs growing craft beer scene opens today, May 28 at 2 p.m. The brewery is located at 3669 E. 44th St.
The husband-and-wife team of Scott Petersen and Jen Reynard own the craft brewery, which has been in the works since the beginning of 2013.
With Nimbus Brewing Company, Ten Fifty-Five Brewing, Three Wells Distilling Company, and Yellow Brick Coffee within walking distance, the centrally located, southern industrial neighborhood will offer quite the variety of local beverages.
âThere werenât many options on this side of town for what we needed,â Petersen said in an interview in 2015. âWe didnât want to have to deal with variations for zoning. We didnât want to deal with serving food. We are not a restaurant.â
Kenâs Hardwood Barbecue will be parked outside the event serving brisket, ribs, and other smoked goodies.
