Green Feet Brewing, one of the latest newcomers to Tucson’s growing craft beer scene opens today, May 28 at 2 p.m. The brewery is located at 3669 E. 44th St.
The husband-and-wife team of Scott Petersen and Jen Reynard own the craft brewery, which has been in the works since the beginning of 2013.
With Nimbus Brewing Company, Ten Fifty-Five Brewing, Three Wells Distilling Company, and Yellow Brick Coffee within walking distance, the centrally located, southern industrial neighborhood will offer quite the variety of local beverages.
“There weren’t many options on this side of town for what we needed,” Petersen said in an interview in 2015. “We didn’t want to have to deal with variations for zoning. We didn’t want to deal with serving food. We are not a restaurant.”
Ken’s Hardwood Barbecue will be parked outside the event serving brisket, ribs, and other smoked goodies.
