Aug 22, 20141 min read

It’s that time of year again–the last long weekend before summer officially ends. If you’re planning a picnic or party for Labor Day, Urban Fresh has you covered. Or smothered, rather, in BBQ sauce and potato salad.

Their special menu of classic entrees, sides, desserts and condiments is prepared by Chef and Integrative Nutrition Health Coach Kathy Iannacone. All foods are priced individually so you can curate your own picnic basket. And of course everything is totally plant-based, with several gluten-free options, too.

Check out the menu below:

Entrees

  • Sloppy Joes
  • Veggies Burgers
  • Baked Mac & Cheese

Sides

  • Baked Beans
  • Deli Style Coleslaw
  • Deli Style Potato Salad
  • Deli Style Pasta Salad

Condiments

  • BBQ Sauce
  • Ranch Dressing

Desserts

  • Berry Crumble Bars
  • Brownie Bars

Labor Day orders can be placed until Wednesday August 27th for Friday pick-up. For pricing and ordering, stop by Urban Fresh website, 73 E. Pennington Street, or call 520-792-9355.

Customers can stop in between now and Saturday for one last meal. The team plans to sell down its inventory, though it hopes to have favorite dishes available. Regular hours remain 9am-3pm through the final day.

“Running this kitchen has been a labor of love, but the numbers just aren’t adding up anymore, and as parents, we have to make the hard choice to step back and take care of what matters most at home.”
