Monday Munchies: Garlic Parm Bites at Fresco Pizzeria & Pastaria

Jul 28, 20251 min read

Monday Munchies is supported by Botanica.

Garlic bread and all of its variants deserve a place on the Mount Everest of comfort foods. This includes garlic knots and garlic breadsticks. While Fresco Pizzeria & Pastaria has their take on the classic Garlic Bread with garlic butter on Italian bread, they also offer it in another addictive snackable form: Garlic Parm Bites.

The house-made pillows of dough are baked until fluffy with a light crust, then lathered with garlic herb oil and showered with sharp pecorino romano.

Dainty diners can bite them in half, but the Garlic Parm Bites are small enough to toss whole into your mouth. Just try not to get the grated cheese everywhere.

One thing that makes Fresco a Monday Munchies favorite: free delivery. And they also offer online ordering, so you don’t have to talk to anyone.

While you’re at it, you might as well order some stromboli, hot wings, and a giant chocolate chip cookie.

Fresco Pizzeria & Pastaria is located at 3011 E. Speedway Blvd. For more information, visit frescopizzeria.com.

Tucson’s barbecue options range from food trucks to full-service dining rooms. Some focus on classic Texas-style plates with butcher paper and simple sides. Others experiment with fusion dishes that blend barbecue with Mexican and Southwestern flavors. This variety gives diners plenty of options, whether they want a quick lunch or a sit-down meal.
