Iron John’s Brewing is more than just great beer!
The local business at the Plaza at Williams Center — 5350 E. Broadway Blvd. #128 — has one of my favorite pizza menus in town, solid appetizers to get you started, and a “Burger of the Month” that’ll cure your munchies while keeping things new and exciting.
Back in early 2020, Iron John’s Brewing Company merged with the local burger joint, Monkey Burger, and in October 2023, the restaurant made its big debut.
Burger of the Month
May’s Burger of the Month is the South Shore Burger — the Iron John’s team refers to it as a “tropical twist.”
“This juicy patty is topped with a refreshing mango relish, adding a burst of sweetness and acidity,” said Cory Carpenter, co-owner of Iron John’s. “Our house-made ginger barbecue glaze brings a touch of warmth, spice, and smokiness, perfectly balanced by the spicy kick of pepper jack cheese.”
“For a unique twist, we sprinkle the burger with Chinese 5 spice, adding a complex layer of flavor. Fresh, shredded lettuce cools everything down and adds a nice crunch!”
And, if you need another reason to stop by Iron John’s on Monday, they currently have a two-for-one beer special at the taproom on Broadway Boulevard. A buy-one-get-one deal on beer is by far my favorite kind of BOGO special.
Iron John’s is currently open 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. on Monday – Thursday, noon – 11 p.m. on Friday, 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. on Saturday, and noon – 6 p.m. on Sunday.
