Tanque Verde Ranch

Tanque Verde Ranch is one of America’s old-time cattle and guest ranches. Located on 60,000 acres of Tucson’s most breathtaking desert landscapes, nestled amongst the Rincon Mountains and adjacent to Saguaro National Park and Coronado National Forest. Established in 1868, Tanque Verde Ranch is recognized as the last luxurious outpost of the old west providing guests with comfy accommodations, unparalleled amenities, and a vast array of exciting activities including horseback riding, mountain biking, fishing, hiking, and more. Main Dining Room Main Dining Room serves as the heart of the ranch's culinary program, featuring elevated Southwestern cuisine and scenic desert vistas. Adobe wall finishes, exposed timber beams, and large picture windows frame sweeping views of the Rincon Mountains. The Dog House Saloon The Dog House Saloon operates as a casual post-ride watering hole, offering refreshing beverages and light snacks right beside the pool. Highlights include prickly pear margaritas, regional draft beers, local wines, and quick pub bites. Cottonwood Grove Cottonwood Grove Hosts the ranch's signature outdoor Cowboy Cookout, bringing guests together around open pit fires for live Western music. Outdoor chefs grill steaks, glazed barbecue ribs, homemade cornbread, and warm apple cobbler.

@Jundynasty has served Sichuan dishes on Grant Road for 13 years.🌶️

General manager Jacob Yeung credits one idea above all: “We’ve grown since then, but the key has always been consistency.”

Stop in for Flaming Chili Oil, Walnut Shrimp, chow fun, or sautéed green beans finished with Sichuan peppercorns. Vegetarian and vegan options are available.

@Lovinspoonfulstucson is closing after more than 20 years in Tucson. Its final day of service runs on Saturday, Oct. 24.

Customers can stop in between now and Saturday for one last meal. The team plans to sell down its inventory, though it hopes to have favorite dishes available. Regular hours remain 9am-3pm through the final day.

“Running this kitchen has been a labor of love, but the numbers just aren’t adding up anymore, and as parents, we have to make the hard choice to step back and take care of what matters most at home.”
