Stacks Book Club (Broadway Boulevard)

Stacks Book Club Broadway opened in May 2026 on the Sunshine Mile, occupying the former Austin's Ice Cream building at 2920 E. Broadway, a midcentury structure with a community history stretching back to 1959. Owners Lizzy and Crispin Jeffrey-Franco preserved original elements of the space, including red brick walls and unfinished concrete floors, while filling nearly 4,000 square feet with conversational seating, local art, and some 6,000 books across all genres. The shop functions as a coffee bar in the morning, a bookstore throughout the day, and a beer-and-wine bar in the evening. The cafe serves espresso drinks and drip coffee from Yellow Brick Coffee, hot and iced teas from Maya Tea Company, and rotating pastries from local vendors. The shop also stocks local and national wines, Dragoon IPA and other craft beers, and non-alcoholic botanical spirits options.
