Run by Stephen and Amanda Paul, Hamilton Distillers is the first small-batch distillery in the Southwest. Lucky for us, their mesquite-smoked whiskey is superb. If you’ve tried their handmade spirits you’re probably wondering when the heck you can get your hands on your very own bottle. Here’s the update: Amanda and Stephen have just moved their operation to a huge new space where they’re prepping to have whiskey on the shelves of Rum Runner and Plaza Liquors by holiday season of 2014. Now you know what to gift yourself. But, while you’re waiting here’s the list of local bars and restaurants where you can order a glass (although you might want to double check with the establishment first):
