Contigo Cocina Latina on River Road is a go-to for tapas and inspired Spanish food in an intimate setting. If you’re a paella fan, you’ll definitely want to make reservations for their Fifth Annual Fiesta de San Fermin Paella Party, Sunday August 17th at 5pm.

The festival of San Fermín, in the city of Pamplona, is the most internationally renowned fiesta in Spain. Famous for the encierro, or the running of the bulls (Hemingway turned Americans on to it with his classic novel, The Sun Also Rises), the celebration lasts a week, draws 1,000,000 people each year, and involves many traditional and folkloric events.

Next weekend enjoy a slice of San Fermin right here in Tucson with a feast of tapas and all-you-can-eat paella cooked outside over an open fire. The meal costs $30 per person, not including alcohol and gratuity, and any guest wearing red gets a free glass of Sangria.

This event sells out quickly, so make reservations by calling 520-299-1730 or visiting Contigo online at www.eatatcontigo.com.
