Chef Carlos Calderon will host the last summer Community Dinner at NORTH Italia on Wednesday, August 20. If you haven’t had enough of La Encantada (hopefully you checked out SAACA’s 2014 Salsa and Tequila Challenge), the menu for North’s final summer send off is definitely worth the trip.
Dishes are served family style and are inspired by seasonal and regional foods of Italy. The dinner runs $45 per person, includes wine pairings, and promises to be “just like how grandma would do.”
Check out the full menu below:
Carpaccio di Bresaola
Sliced bresaola, arugula, shaved grana padano, housemade breadsticks
Cappeloni Valdostani
Full moon pasta stuffed with potato & speck, topped with pecorino & basil butter
Spezzatino Alla Milanese
Red wine braised beef, saffron risotto, broccolini
Panettone Con Le More
Blackberry bread pudding served with beverage pairing
Sounds like a delicious ending to a long, hot August.
Dinner begins at 6:30 and seating is limited – reserve a spot at “grandma’s table” in person or by calling (520) 299-1600. For more info visit North online.
