Though great friends outside the kitchen, but fierce competitors inside, Agustín Kitchen’s Ryan Clark and Acacia’s Albert Hall will go toe to toe in a battle of skills at Williams Sonoma at La Encantada Saturday, October 4 from 1-3pm.
Both former Tucson Iron Chef winners will compete at the Great Pumpkin Challenge in a culinary quest to create the winning main course dish. In addition to their ingredients of choice, each chef must also use one or more William Sonoma seasonal pumpkin products in their dish. Options include quick breads, butters, sauces, bisques, pumpkin parmesan sauce, and more.
This event is free and the public is encouraged to attend, sample both dishes, and vote for their favorite. The winner will receive a special Great Pumpkin trophy following the challenge.
