One of Tucson’s true gems of a location will add a farmers market as Heirloom Farmers Markets moves its Jesse Owens Park market to Trail Dust Town on Tanque Verde Road.

Home to Pinnacle Peak, Dakota Cafe, and a number of various shops, Trail Dust Town will feature the farmers market every Friday from 9am to 1pm beginning Friday, January 9.

“Trail Dust Town is the perfect venue for a farmers market,” said Heirloom Farmers Market Director Manish Shah. “Every vendor from the Jesse Owens market was on board.”

Twenty vendors, including San Rafael Beef Company, Adventure Coffee, and Grammy’s Farm will be featured regularly at the new market.

Heirloom, a local non-profit, manages several other farmers markets in town, including the new permanent pavilion market on Saturdays and Sundays at Rillito Park, and also organizes the Viva La Local Food Festival.
