Everyone’s favorite little east side organic pizza joint has quietly begun serving breakfast. If you’ve visited Renee’s Organic Oven in the past – or not – you might know that Renee’s, named after its owner Renee Kreager, is heavily dedicated to sourcing the best ingredients she and her husband, Steve, can find. For breakfast they’ve made no exception.
With quite possibly the most impressive breakfast beverage menu in Tucson, including Ayurvedic Dish For Dosha juices, Yellow Brick French Press Coffee, seven different morning cocktails, Arbuckle drip coffee, and much more, it becomes plainly obvious that Renee’s breakfast menu is a highly curated slice of Tucson – not a hastily whipped together breakfast menu. And that’s just the drinks.
“Our desire to create a breakfast experience was born mostly out of our love of adding to the mix, to keep challenging ourselves, and to offer things in a way we don’t see being done too often, if at all,” says Kreager, who owns and manages the restaurant with her husband, Steve.
Breaking away from a traditional menu slightly, mainly due to kitchen limitations, Renee’s Organic Oven offers a heartwarming, broad assortment of unique breakfast items. Standouts include:

Note to the standard eggs-over-easy crowd: eggs cooked to order are not available. Just a forewarning. Renee’s has done a great job in putting together a well-varied menu without the traditional two egg and protein plate, but not because they don’t want you to have it.
“We simply don’t have the space, equipment or ability to successfully offer eggs cooked to order at this time,” continued Kreager. “This menu is our way of continuing to honor this simple kitchen and little place.”
Renee’s Organic Oven is now open for breakfast weekdays only from 8am to 10:45am. At this time, there is no weekend breakfast service, although weekend service may be added at a later time.
